Lauriston’s Thirtieth Bred Individual Winner

Tango Express flew from her wide alley at Kilmore yesterday in a 3YO fillies maiden over 1100 metres. Ridden by jockey Jade Darose she settled on the pace,  just outside the leader, Katiet. Katiet led to the turn before being challenged by Tango Express in the straight. The Ricky Maund prepared

3yo drew away in the final stages of the race to win by more than a length.

The win has pushed Tango Express’ career earnings to more than $26,000. She has been runner up on three other occasions from her eight starts.

Tango Express is the thirtieth individual winner bred at Lauriston and following Al Jandar’s win, the second in a week.  The Success Express filly is the oldest living foal from Lauriston mare Entango (by Entrepreneur). Entango has a 2yo filly by King Charlemagne, a yearling colt by Japanese stallion Jungle Pocket and is currently in foal to Lonhro.
