Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm operates two separate properties near the township of Corinella, 120km south east of Melbourne CBD.
The original holding of 229 acres overlooks the picturesque countryside and silver waters of Western Port Bay. It is a dedicated pre-training and educational facility catering for thoroughbred racehorses of all the ages from weanlings to retirement.
The facilities include a large lunging ring, an eight horse walker, horse swimming pool, two sand and two grass training tracks. The property is divided into a number of large spelling paddocks, smaller day yards with boxes and stabling facility for up to 30 individual horses. There is access to a local beach for development, training and therapeutic benefit.
Overall care and the education of is supervised by our Licensed Pre-trainer assisted by a dedicated team with many years of experience.
Just 1km away is the second property of 138 acres purposely developed to accommodate thirty to thirty-five broodmares and their progeny. This facility boasts custom built foaling stables, day yards, a veterinary room, paddocks of varying sizes and a centrally located staff accommodation with a panoramic outlook to each of the surrounding paddocks and scenery beyond.
