Bedouin Express Wins at Bairnsdale

Shea Eden placed Bedouin Express in the seventh race at Bairnsdale over 2000m today. He also made a couple of gear adjustments – Blinkers off and pacifiers on, the nose roll stayed on. Just half the size of Bedouin Express was Red Sole who worked hard and wide to lead during the early stages of the race. Drawn the inside Bedouin Express box seated but took  time to settle for Adam McCabe.  Adam maintained a trail ride along the inside giving the gelding every chance. Bedouin Express and the gallant Red Sole fought neck and neck down the straight but on the line it was Bedouin Express by a small margin with Carmen Over Baby a further three lengths away third.

It was Bedouin Express’ seventh career win – his second win for his new owners and stable and took his earnings to more than $110,000. Bedouin Express was bred at Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm and is from Gal Express.
