A large crowd was on hand at Seymour to watch Tiakinui win the Seymour Cup last Sunday. The following race was a 0-68 rating 1000 metre showcase event. Sorisam with Dean Yendall on board settled midfield. Dean eased
him outside the leaders at the turn. He went to the line to win easily by more than a length, with something in store.
It was the most impressive display by the Ricky Maund trained Sequalo gelding to date. The lightly raced five year old has now won on four occasions from just nine outings.
