Skidoodle’s Sons Win on Consecutive Days

Lot 27,Strategic x Skidoodle_05-02-2013_GEN_Lauriston__1156Tudor, pictured as a yearling, stepped out at midweek city class last Wednesday at Bendigo in a 3yo race for colts and geldings over 1,100m. Tudor was taken to the lead by apprentice Jake Bayliss setting up an opportunity to display his turn of foot. He did not disappoint and stole a race winning break from the bend. Runner up Fast Cash was not comfortable racing along the fence inside runners and was taken back and then outside to the better part of the track. The Wendy Kelly trained gelding stormed home impressively and looks like a horse with a bright future. Tudor held off the late finisher to win by more than a length. The race carried Super VOBIS and VOBIS Gold bonuses. Tudor collected bonuses and prize money totalling $42,000.
