Who’s Deadly?

Too Deadly trailed the fourteen horse field in the showcase 1,300 metre handicap at Seymour earlier today. Sent wide at the turn the gelding was urged to let down with typical Froggy Newitt vigour. His last fifty metres were dazzling. He closed quickly and was strong at the line to win by 1.5 lengths.

Too Deadly, by Street Cry from Roxy Express, was bred by Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm. He was sold at Inglis’ 2009 Premier sale as a yearling for $32,500 to Eales Racing. In 2012 he was on sold to current trainer Grant Cravern. Today’s win was his third and took his career earnings beyond $150,000.
