Indiana Heart (Show A Heart x Nova Gen) left her rider at the gates on debut at the Gold Coast. A month ago in her second start she made up late ground to finish runner up behind race leader and winner Sizzling Song at the Sunshine Coast.
Yesterday trainer Nicky Harrison opted to race the mare over 1,200 metres at the same venue. Ric McMahon took the ride. It would be her third start. The punters had obviously been impressed with her previous effort and she was backed into favouritism. Once again Indiana buy tadalafil Heart settled toward the rear but the extra 200 metres suited and displaying a strong turn of foot she found the line strongly to win by half a length.
In doing so Indiana Heart became the 65th individual winner bred at Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm. She is a half-sister to She’ll Avago (by Perugino) and Nova Spirit (by Bel Esprit).
