Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm has commenced the yearling sale circuit with a 100% clearance rate for the 15 yearlings sold at Melbourne and Adelaide.

Tony Noonan and Laurel Oak Bloodstock were the successful purchasers of lot 557 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale – an impressive Testa Rossa filly and a half-brother to black type winners General Truce and Arctic Command.

The Reset colt,(Lot 552 at the Melbourne Premier), bred on the same cross as Pinker Pinker was purchased by Doug Harrison and the striking Bel Esprit filly, (Lot 141),  purchased by Steve Brem will find its way in to the stable of John Moloney.

In Adelaide, Lauriston’s Lot 9, by Tale Of The Cat from Mighty Atalanta was purchased by Singapore trainer Brian Dean.  Sam Kavanagh snapped up Alcohol’s half- sister, Lot 84, by Statue Of Liberty, and after strong bidding the Kheleyf colt, Lot 345, was purchased by Oakbank trainer Scott Trenowden.

Other successful purchasers of Lauriston’s yearlings were Shea Eden (Choisir-Apolina colt), Shane Nichols (Lonhro–Entango colt), G. Coady (Fastnet Rock–Express Fair colt), Mick Trotter (Choisir–Bloomin Marvellous filly), T Ireland (Hard Spun–Inthemix colt), Kim Harrison & Jon O’Connor (Holy Roman Emperor –Orpenella colt), Lewis Lampardo and David Kok (Jet Spur-Spectacula filly), Gordon Richards (Excites–Caffe Francais colt) and John Murray (God’s Own–Go Misty colt)
