Verridon has followed his win two weeks ago, with another win. The four year old gelding has now won three of his last five starts. This time the class four Toowoomba race was
run over 1100 metres.
Confidently ridden by Tats Fujinuma, Verridon looked the likely winner for the duration of the straight, pouncing on the leaders and running away to win by nearly 2 lengths.
The grey gelding prepared by trainer Eric Ropiha has now won five races with a winning range from 1000 to 1200 metres.
Verridon was bred at Lauriston. He is by Statue Of Liberty out of Black Zephyr mare, Sea Zephyr.
