Zofabird Can Fly

Five weeks ago, Zofabird was beaten in a photo by Sheeza Peril at Port Augusta over 1100 metres. Today, in Zofabird’s next start, the two met again – at the same track over the same distance.  This time the exacta was reversed but the result was not as close. Damien Robinson took the Emma Hubbard trained mare to the front in the early stages of the race. From that point on, Zofabird was never troubled. In a dominant display she found the line more than three lengths ahead of Sheeza Peril. There was an even a greater margin separating the place getters.

It was the third win for Zofabird who was bred at Lauriston Thoroughbred Farm. Zofabird is by Danbird and out of Zoffany mare Zofagal.
