Lot 276 – Inglis Easter Yearling Sale Ch f Street Cry x Amarazetti
Lauriston Thoroughred Farm’s sole entry into Inglis’s Easter Yearling Sale is Lot 276 a stunning chestnut filly by Street Cry from Group 3 placed Commands mare Amarazetti, from the family of Group 1 winners I Like Diamonds and Hill of Grace.
The filly will be presented by one of Victoria’s leading vendor’s Three Bridges Thoroughbreds who will be offering a select draft of three yearlings at the sale.
Ill fated Street Cry is an amazingly versatile stallion with global appeal. He produced USA horse of the year Zenyatta as well as Steet Sense, Street Boss and others. He has been super successful in Australia leaving a Melbourne Cup hero in Shocking, a brilliant Blue Diamond winner in Pride of Dubai and everything in between. Both Shocking and Pride Of Dubai are out of daughters of Danehill. Lot 276 is bred on a similar cross. Amarazetti is by Commands a son of Danehill.
Amarazetti has produced three older foals: City winner Ms Mazetti (3f. Lonhro x Amarazetti) finished 0.2length second behind Bullpit on debut while edging out Rich Enuff into 3rd before winning at Caulfield in her next start; Recent winner Zettfidaa (4f. Red Ransom x Amarazetti); and Realise The Dream (2f. More Than Ready x Amarazetti) who has trialled well recently for trainer Mick Price.
“This filly is strong, very muscular with lovely loose movement and being by Street Cry she could end up well placed in a number of countries, so she certainly looks like a yearling with a very positive future,” said Three Bridges’ Toby Liston.
“Lauriston Thoroughbreds have done a terrific job in raising her and no doubt her Super VOBIS eligibility will spark some Victorian interest given the amazing prize money and bonuses on offer.”
