Sorisam’s Bairnsdale win last Saturday was his fourth win in just his last six outings. The gelding led from start to finish and was not threatened at any stage. He won the 1,000 metre bench mark 70 race by more than a length.
“Sorisam bounced better than expected,” explained Ricky after the race. “Dean (Holland) let him hold the front position rather than bringing him back to the field. That’s why that was such a good win – it was against his usual racing pattern”
It was Sorisam’s eighth career win and took his earnings to $98,750.
