Lauriston was fortunate that Flower Power was covered by Shamardal on the second day of the 2009 breeding season. Despite a strong book of mares, Shamardal only covered 34 mares last spring in Australia\u00a0 before injuring himself while performing stud duties.<\/p>\n<p>Flower Power is a daughter of popular brood mare sire, Success Express. During her racing career she displayed a great motor and a strong heart.
