Jockey, Adrian Patterson, rated the gelding well. Bondarchuk threatened for the duration of the straight, however Gold Energy dug deep and was strong on the line to win by \u00be of a length.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is a different horse since we took him to the bull ring\u201d, explains Gold Energy\u2019s trainer Ricky Maund. \u201cHe had another work out before this run\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Gold Energy has won three races and has been placed twice in five of his last six starts since becoming aquainted with the bull ring.
